Dr. Rohit Sachdeva spoke to DFBT in September 2001. Since that time the company

Dr. Sachdeva founded OraMetrix in 1998. Before joining OraMetrix, Dr. Sachdeva was a Professor of Orthodontics at Baylor College of Dentistry Texas A&M University System in Dallas. He has also served on the faculties of the Universities of Connecticut and Manitoba, and has held numerous visiting faculty positions at internationally recognized universities. He is internationally recognized for his contributions in the field of orthodontics. He is the developer of copper nickel titanium (Cu Ni-Ti) and titanium niobium (TiNiob) orthodontic alloys and titanium bracket. Dr. Sachdeva received his dental degree from the University of Nairobi (Kenya) in 1978. He earned his Certificate in Orthodontics and Masters in Dental Science at the University of Connecticut in 1983. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Sachdeva holds more than 20 patents in the medical and dental areas and is the winner of numerous teaching, research and treatment awards.
